A landmark in Stevensville Mae's Place Restaurant has been run by the Rockey family for over 45 years. It all started with Mae Rockey who opened a small restaurant in 1972 with her mother Nora and her son Daryl, it has now grown to be a town feature and meeting place for locals and tourists alike. For 40 years Daryl and Margaret have worked hard to hold the tradition of bringing quality meals for a fair price, serving the same daily specials that locals know by heart.

Mae's Restaurant has been a well kept secret for locals looking for quality, affordable and delicious catering options. With word of mouth there is no need for advertising as their work speaks for itself. Trays of their roast beef, gravy, turkey, fried chicken, potatoes, salads and desserts are always crowd pleasers at any event.

Our restaurant provides two separate dining areas. The front area being a cozy, 60s vintage area for quick eats that includes a "lunch counter" with retro stools. The dining room is tucked away from the front entrance and has a classic, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for having a nice meal with friends and family.

--My wife and I ate at Mae’s Place for the first time tonight. A coworker recommended it to me and I’m so glad she did. This place has a old school vibe with amazing food. We shared some pirogies and a fish fry dinner. The pirogies were fried crispy with a tasty seasoning salt on them and the fish fry was hands down the best we have had in the area. Battered in house and fried golden brown to perfection. The fries are fresh cut an also fried to perfection. We have found our new favourite local restaurant and will be going back very soon. Make sure you save room for the awesome pies!!
--My wife and I went there tonight and loved it.We ordered the Seafood platter.Came with 2 nice size pieces of haddock lightly battered with scallops and 2 giant delicious shrimp, golden brown onion rings and perfect homemade fries,,Perfect size portions too.Very reasonably priced and the service was great too.Will be going there a whole lot more in the future.

--always a great visit food is always great service has always been quick and reasonably priced , heck we have even stopped by on the way to the falls and grabbed dessert ,the best sugar pie around
